How do I find technology of interest easily?
Dean’s List offers buyers a number of ways to locate intellectual property of interest.  Buyers can browse the various categories listed on the website or conduct a search using specific keywords without registration or disclosure of personal information.  Our listings are available to anyone with internet access through this website.  If nothing of interest is currently available, the buyer can be notified by email when updated listings are posted under requested categories. 

How do I conduct diligence or contact the seller?
When a buyer finds interest in a specific intellectual property they have the option of requesting more information from the owner though an easy web form.  To contact the owner of an intellectual property and request more information, simply click the Tell Me More button located on every listing page.  This allows the buyer to remain confidential by using a unidentifiable email address.  Ocean Tomo can also assist as needed if more confidentiality is needed.  Since the listings are public domain, many of the sellers have supplemental diligence material that will become available to interested parties. 

Are these IP assets available for sale or license?
The buyer and seller can then option to negotiate the terms of sale or license, dependent on the deal structure sought.  The Dean’s List offers a network of resources to facilitate diligence and negotiation.

Legal documents and due diligence are completed by the parties lawyers to finalize and close the asset transfer.  The Dean’s List does not implement a buyer’s commission on the sale.  Ocean Tomo advisors can facilitate the closing of transactions if necessary.
